The LG G7 Appearance Is Glamorous

The direct competitor of the Korean flagship LG G6 at the moment is the Samsung Galaxy S8 which went on sale. Galaxy S8 has a more modern iron, but its price is much higher (899.383USD) than of LG G6 (566.887USD). LG has to face another competitor in 2018 – Samsung Galaxy S9, the year in which company is going to launch its next G series smartphone, the LG G7 using the modish screen technology of bendable display.

Refusing ambitious experiments with the modular design, LG in its new LG G6 flagship smartphone experimented with only one – with a screen of non-standard proportions. In the rest it is a usual modern smartphone: a bar of glass and metal with a non-removable battery, no plug-in modules – but also without extra “functions for the sake of functions” and unreasoned engineering solutions. Preparing this review of LG G6, I tested the novelty of the Korean company for two weeks as my main smartphone and I am ready to share my impressions. Hope, LG G7 could rock the next year with its amazing metal-glass phone body, 5.8” 4K OLED bendable display hooded with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Outside

For the sake of justice, I note: the idea of “pulling” the screen in length LG implemented in the smartphone is not the first. Nevertheless, it was the LG G6 that became the first massively available device on the global scale with a non-standard (yet) 18: 9 aspect ratio displays, in most markets ahead of the Galaxy S8 for a week or two. Except for this feature, the smartphone does not stand out against the background of dozens of other topical models: a metal frame in two places “intersected” by antenna inserts, a glass back panel slightly curved at the edges, a dual camera and a round fingerprint reader in the middle of the back panel. The hearsay suggests that the upcoming glamorous model LG G7 is blessed with a 13MP front camcorder and 22MP back Dual-lens camera having an amazing quality of optical stabilization, autofocus, 3D effects, numerable manual options, high-detailed clear picture.

Moreover, the fingerprint scanner would be quicker than LG G6 and would be positioned under the screen in a tiny 0.03mm slit.

The scanner (small, flush with the back panel, and therefore difficult to grope) is combined with the power button. Its atypical performance is perhaps the biggest flaw in the ergonomics of the LG G6. That is, for two weeks of use to get used to this method of control, I’m used to, but I did not start to experience any joy. Hope, this issue would be resolved with the release of LG G7. Moreover, it is expected that the hero LG G7 will look more glorious with its 2.5D glass shaping and the catching width.

It is anticipated that the phone with a glamorous appearance and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC build on the 7nm chipset and Adreno GPU would be available in the market in January 2018 and the price is expected to be around 931.889USD.
